VFF extends its congratulations to Hanoi Police FC for earning a spot in the AFC Champions League Elite 2026/27

Despite having to play away and facing considerable difficulties, Hanoi Police FC still showed their mettle by securing a convincing 2-0 victory over Adelaide United (Australia). This result helps coach Mano Polking and his team officially qualify for the AFC Champions League Elite, while also becoming the first Vietnamese club to achieve this since Asia's top club competition changed its name and format.

The ticket to the AFC Champions League Elite further marks a strong step forward for the police football club in recent years. In just four years since returning to professional football, CAHN has continuously achieved notable successes such as runner-up in the ASEAN Club Championship 2024/25, V.League champions in 2023 and 2025/26, and winning the National Cup 2024/25. Therefore, qualifying for the most prestigious club-level competition in Asia is seen as a special milestone, affirming CAHN's growing stature both domestically and internationally.
