VFF reacts as CAHN achieves an unprecedented milestone in Vietnamese football

VFF extends congratulations to Hanoi Police FC for securing a spot in the AFC Champions League Elite 2026/27.

Today (August 12), The Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) has sent congratulations to Hanoi Police Football Club for their achievement of qualifying for the group stage of the AFC Champions League Elite 2026/27 – the highest club-level competition in Asia.

In the playoff match for a spot in the AFC Champions League Elite 2026/27 group stage held away from home, Hanoi Police FC played with great composure and secured a 2-0 victory over Adelaide United (Australia). This result allowed the Vietnamese representative to qualify for the highest club-level competition in Asia for the 2026/27 season.

The victory over Adelaide United is a commendable result, showcasing the unity, determination, and competitive spirit of the Hanoi Police FC collective. It is also a proud milestone that helps affirm the development and elevate the status of Vietnamese football on the international stage.

The VFF believes that Hanoi Police FC will continue to demonstrate their fighting spirit, maintain focus, and give their utmost effort in the AFC Champions League Elite 2026/27, aiming for positive results and delivering impressive performances for Vietnamese football fans.
