The 4-1 victory over Vietnam's U20 women's team not only secured Thailand's U20 women's team a spot in the quarter-finals of the 2026 U20 Women's Asian Cup, but also provided a significant morale boost for their ambition to compete on the global stage. According to Siam Sport, Thai Football Association President Nualphan Lamsam expressed particular confidence in the team's ability to qualify for the World Cup.

She believes the convincing performance with two consecutive wins clearly demonstrates progress and serves as a foundation to aim for a major milestone after more than two decades of waiting.
